We'd planned on going to Universal, but you are right - my legs are always tired after walking (standing in line) all day at the parks. Maybe the pool and a movie instead!!Sue B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/08480200535312053369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5093644418410785887.post-21875742800760873192012-02-24T10:12:23.937-05:002012-02-24T10:12:23.937-05:00You go girl! You will see tons of people wearing them in the parks. Do the same! Trust me. There are very few races where you can go out in public with it on and feel a part of community. Wear it for all it's worth!!!Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00311487376653590470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5093644418410785887.post-62635236754560667782012-02-23T23:52:21.822-05:002012-02-23T23:52:21.822-05:00Just a word of advice from someone who's tried...Just a word of advice from someone who's tried the park-heavy thing before a race...

DON'T!

Seriously. You don't realize how much walking you do until you're halfway into the race and dying.

Especially if you're doing the 5K on Saturday, let that be pretty much it. If your husband wants to do the park, that's fine, but let him go alone. You don't want to spend the day before any half, but especially your first, walking all over creation.

Do the 5K on Saturday and then REST.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
