I'll have a cup of black tea, slice of bread with peanut butter. I think I would pass out! I have to eat before I workout in the mornings or I get shaky and light headed. I picked up my Dunkin Donuts coffee earlier and it's already in my suitcase. It's getting so close ladies!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04372440939112155022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5093644418410785887.post-24207482053192271522012-02-21T22:52:05.629-05:002012-02-21T22:52:05.629-05:00Sometimes I don't eat anything but if I do it&...Sometimes I don't eat anything but if I do it's normally a granola bar that I munch on before I get to the race.Suz and Allanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15703593542540533784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5093644418410785887.post-35506551193182444492012-02-21T21:34:47.112-05:002012-02-21T21:34:47.112-05:00When we were in Magic Kingdom yesterday, the baker...When we were in Magic Kingdom yesterday, the bakery was closed. Oddly enough, I don't drink coffee before races and my body chooses to go along with it. My plan is to pick up a bottle of water to bring with me, along with my handheld Nathan that I'll run with. I plan to bring a bagel thin and peanut butter from home to have for breakfast. I'll have my Honey Stinger chews for the run! This will be my first time running any kind of distance without my Fuel Belt and I am a little nervous! I am going to have my handheld and I plan to stop at every water stop, so I should be ok.Reganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06016241619097660574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5093644418410785887.post-35205138064838590132012-02-21T09:30:50.588-05:002012-02-21T09:30:50.588-05:00I'll be drinking a big cup of tea (maybe 2 but...I'll be drinking a big cup of tea (maybe 2 but I don't want to need too many bathroom breaks) and I'll have oatmeal before I leave my condo and probably a banana in the corral.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11708846176161632159noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5093644418410785887.post-82535074620414732222012-02-21T09:11:06.785-05:002012-02-21T09:11:06.785-05:00Just be careful not to over caffinate as it can de...Just be careful not to over caffinate as it can dehydrate you and cause other unplesant things you will not want to deal with during the race ;)
I would not worry too much as the race will be so full of excitement you will not need any caffeine. Pre-Race too!
I say do the Duncan and lay off all others. I have started eating 1/2 a slice of 15 Grain bread with RF crunchy peanut butter on it. So far that has worked for me. I will take it along to Shamrock in March and hope for the best.Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00311487376653590470noreply@blogger.com
