What is on your running playlist?  Do you have any recommendations?

As for the Bondi Band Giveaway!!!  The winner is Patty!!!!  She will receive the Minnie Dots headband, which is what she chose as her favorite when she visited the Bondi Band website.  Please e-mail me with your mailing address at amysmith7@comcast.net so I can forward the info to Bondi Bands. Congratulations!!!  Your headband will be shipped to you directly from Bondi Bands.

  1. Winner, Winner Chicken Dinner! Yeah me!

I have recently revamped my playlist and a few new additions to mine were Fighter by Christina Augilera, L.O.V.E. by Ashlee Simpson, several songs by Muse, and Pretty Woman by Roy Orbison (which is surprisingly a great running song!) and Dog Days are Over by Florence and the Machine.

  2. I have such a long list and it constantly changes... Anything fast paced or just makes me feel good is on there. There's some Kenny Chesney, Lady Gaga, Beach Boys... it's pretty random. Of course there's some Disney usually on there as well.

  3. The songs I choose for my playlist are inspired either by lyrics or beats. These songs motivate me to keep going when I want to give up while running. I love the lyric to the first four songs by Eminem -"Till I collapse", "Not Afraid", "loose control",& Nelly- Heart of a Champion. Major Lazer- Hold the line(my treadmil song), Chris Brown- Look at me now, Diddy- Hello, Good morning, Immortal technique- The point of no return, Maino Ft. T pain- All above, Justin Bebier- Baby, Neyo- One in a Million, Lupe Fiasco- The show goes on

I just recently added Just dance-Lady Gaga, Fighter-Christina Augilera, Jessie J- Price Tag ft B.O.B, Katy Perry-Firework, Katy Perry-E.T. ft Kanye west, Jennifer Lopez-on the floor ft pit bull, Britney Spears- Till the world ends. I love any type of music that has a good beat, fast pace that get in my veins that make me want to move! Loving this post.

  5. I just followed a link over from the WISH board, and this post is great...my play list is similar, and I'm taking notes. Some of my favorite running songs are
    Loser Like Me from Glee,
Check Yes Juliet by We the Kings (the chorus is a peppy "run baby run..."),
One Tribe, Let's Get it Started, and Rock that Body all by The Black Eyed Peas,
Forget You by Cee Lo Green (I like the uncensored version truth be told),
    Raise Your Glass by Pink,
Here it Goes Again by OK Go,
Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the
    Waves,
    Price Tag by Jesse J,
    Survivor by Destiny's Child
    Right Round by Flo Rida.

I hope you post some great playlists--I need a little more variety myself and I'm going to take some advice from your comments on this post!

  8. Thanks for the great suggestions everyone! I have added several new songs(while keeping some favorites)! I love the mix of older songs with newer ones. I have been away for a few days for a quick trip to the beach. I did a nice 3 mile run while I was there. New music is just the thing I needed to get me pumped for my first 5k on Sunday! Thanks again!
